City to face Barcelona, Celtic and Borussia M

City face a tough path to the Champions League knockout stages after a difficult draw.

Pep Guardiola will return to Barcelona after City were again paired with the Catalan side in the Champions League group stage.

The Blues have faced Barca four times in the past two years, losing each game.

City will also once again play Borussia Monchengladbach who were in the Blues’ group last season.

The Blues beat the German side 2-1 away and 4-2 at the Etihad Stadium on the way to progressing to the knockout stages.

The third opponents in a tough-looking Group C are  Celtic - a team the Blues have never met competitively.
